Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is Mandalay Bay Convention Center inside the resort?

A: Yes. It is integrated with Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, although some halls are a long walk from the hotel lobby and guestrooms.

Q: How early should attendees arrive?

A: Arriving 20–30 minutes before the first session is sensible. Extra time may be needed for parking, badge collection, security screening and walking to a distant hall.

Q: Is the Mandalay Bay tram the same as the Las Vegas Monorail?

A: No. The Mandalay Bay tram is a free local service connecting Mandalay Bay, Luxor and Excalibur. It does not connect directly with the Las Vegas Monorail system.

Q: Can attendees enter Mandalay Bay Beach with a convention badge?

A: A convention badge does not automatically provide pool or beach access. Access generally depends on hotel registration, a cabana reservation or a separately approved group event.

Q: Can packages be shipped directly to an exhibition booth?

A: Materials should not be mailed to the venue without following the event’s shipping instructions. Most shows use specific labels, delivery dates and material-handling contractors.

Q: Is there an on-site shipping and printing service?

A: Yes. A FedEx business center supports printing, copying, shipping and selected exhibitor services. Handling and storage fees may apply.

Q: Can exhibitors drive vehicles into the exhibition halls?

A: Vehicles may be allowed as exhibits or for loading when approved in advance. Fuel limits, battery requirements, permits and fire-safety rules apply.

Q: Are drones allowed inside the convention center?

A: Drone use requires advance written approval and must comply with venue, safety and aviation requirements.

Q: Can visitors walk to Allegiant Stadium?

A: The stadium is close to Mandalay Bay, and pedestrians commonly use the Hacienda Avenue bridge. Visitors should allow extra time because event-day security and crowd-control routes may change.

Q: Does convention registration include free parking?

A: Usually not. Parking is charged separately unless the event organiser provides a prepaid pass, validation or group arrangement.

Q: Do hotel guests have parking re-entry privileges?

A: Registered guests can link their parking ticket to their hotel room and use their room key for garage access during their stay.

Q: Is the food court always open when conventions are operating?

A: The main convention-area food court currently operates 24 hours. Temporary concessions inside event halls may have shorter hours determined by the organiser.

Q: Can outside meals be delivered to a meeting room?

A: Outside catering and bulk food deliveries are generally restricted. Organisers should arrange food service through Mandalay Bay’s convention catering team.

Q: Is luggage storage available to convention attendees?

A: Registered hotel guests can normally use the bell desk before check-in or after checkout. Storage for visitors who are not hotel guests is not guaranteed.

Q: Does an event badge include entry to Michelob ULTRA Arena?

A: Only when the organiser specifically includes an arena programme. Public concerts and sporting events normally require a separate ticket.

Q: Can families accompany convention attendees?

A: They can stay at and visit the resort, but access to exhibit halls, professional sessions and private receptions depends on the organiser’s registration and age rules.
