Hall Capacity and Layout
Halls A, B and C
Halls A, B and C form a 244,383-square-foot, column-free exhibition floor with space for up to 1,184 standard booths. Ceilings are approximately 37 feet high.
Hall A covers 86,204 square feet and holds about 7,392 theatre-style attendees, 3,600 banquet guests or 371 booths. Hall B offers 50,787 square feet and holds approximately 6,965 theatre-style attendees, 2,530 banquet guests or 268 booths.
Hall C is the largest section at 107,392 square feet, with capacity for around 9,408 theatre-style guests, 4,610 banquet guests or 545 booths. Stages, lounges and wider aisles reduce final capacity.
San Francisco Ballroom
The Level 2 San Francisco Ballroom covers 49,776 square feet and divides into as many as 16 sections. It holds approximately 5,539 theatre-style attendees, 2,880 banquet guests or 3,424 classroom seats.
The ballroom has a 25-foot ceiling, pre-function areas and north- and south-facing terraces. A glass bridge connects this level with Moscone North.
Esplanade Ballroom
The upper-mezzanine Esplanade Ballroom provides 42,675 square feet and divides into ten rooms. It holds approximately 4,800 theatre-style attendees, 2,800 banquet guests or 2,608 classroom seats.
Its 15,130-square-foot pre-function area supports registration, refreshments and sponsor displays.
Meeting Rooms and Level 3 Terraces
Smaller rooms are spread across the lower mezzanine, lobby and upper floors. Lower-mezzanine rooms combine for sessions of about 330, while lobby rooms 101 through 105 support workshops and presentations.
Level 3 accommodates groups from about 10 to 1,400. Nearly 22,000 square feet of secure terraces offer skyline views for approved receptions and networking.
Parking at Moscone South
Moscone South has no on-site attendee parking. The South Driveway, docks, ramps and curb spaces are loading or traffic-control areas, and unauthorised vehicles may be towed.
The closest major option is the city-operated Moscone Center Garage at 255 Third Street. Current rates include $4 to $5 per hour, an $18 weekday early-bird rate, a $29 twelve-hour maximum and a $35 twenty-four-hour maximum. Special-event prices can apply.
The Fifth and Mission/Yerba Buena Garage at 833 Mission Street is another large option. Drivers should confirm hours, event pricing, clearance and re-entry rules. Public transport is often easier during major conventions.
Reaching Moscone South
The Yerba Buena/Moscone Muni station is across from the campus. Powell Street and Montgomery Street BART stations are within walking distance and connect with the airport and East Bay.
